水石は、ウエブにて経験できる生成アートワークである。それぞれの石は、一つの種からプロセスを経て育成していく。一つの種とは、面で刻まれることによる破片、もしくは一つの素片。その素片が、指定した場所の環境でいかに質量保存され侵食し風化していくか、その様を終わることなくシミュレーション化したものである。それぞれの石は記録はされていない。よってそれぞれの石は今ここでしか存在しない。Suiseki 水石 is a generative web artwork. Each viewing stone is grown procedurally from a single seed — a fragment, faceted by fracture — then weathered perpetually by a mass-conserving erosion simulation, at the pace of the place it is shown in.
